April At Flandrau State Park

Flandrau State Park is right on the edge of New Ulm, Minnesota.  It’s a beautiful forest with large bluffs and a river rolling through it.  You can climb some of the bluffs and there are fine hiking trails there too.  I painted this on a spring day in April, on the Tuesday after Easter.  It was a great day for painting.
